Ancient fabrics of Armenia

On June 14, the 57th meeting of the “Carahunge Armenological Center” was held, organized jointly with the National University of Architecture and Construction:

Our speaker was an archaeologist, the head of numerous archaeological expeditions Boris Gasparyan, who, in particular, is familiar to us with the discovery of the 5,500-year-old Areni-1 cave, the oldest shoe and the oldest winery to date:

This time we talked about the ancient Eneolithic and medieval Armenian fabrics and trinkets found in the Areni-1 cave, about the technological features of their production, as well as about the connection of the latter with the ritual mentality of the ancient inhabitants of Areni.
