06.08.2020 Scientific expedition to Carahunge, organized by Byurakan Observatory after V. A. Ambartsumian and National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.Day2.


A team of geologists performed three-dimensional mapping (scanning) of the remaining area, and also determined the exact geographical positions (GPS) of megaliths of particular importance.


Architects continued the work of describing and measuring the stones, which was joined by the invited architect Tigran Davtyan, focusing on drawing and measuring holes of the megaliths in the southern part of the monument.


Garnik Stepanyan and Hayk Malkhasyan continued the work of identification and photography of all megaliths numbered by Paris Heruni.
