Continuing the topic of fabrics, the 58th meeting of the “Carahunge Armeological Center” took place on June 21.
Linguist Leyla Stepanyan, who has been researching Armenian-Polynesian linguistic and cultural communities for about 26 years, made a presentation on "Signs of tissue in the Polynesian language and their Armenian parallels."
As a result of her research, Leyla Stepanyan discovered more than 3,500 common roots, words and expressions, more than 50 grammatical forms, more than a tens dialects, many toponyms and names of tribes in the Armenian-Rapana dictionary of languages.
